Starlight Theatre's annual Blue Star Awards present an opportunity for high school theatre productions of the Kansas City area to be presented with awards of achievement of excellence in various areas of theatre. With awards modeled after Broadway's Tony awards, high schools can receive a number of awards relating to performance, technical aspects, and quality of their productions.
